Non Invasive Laser Lipolysis

Non Invasive Laser lipolysis is an advanced, cosmetic procedure used to destroy fat cells from localized areas of the body, and to contour those areas by liftinhg and tightening the affected skin. Designed specifically to target fat in parts of the body resistant to diet and exercise, lipolysis is a non invasive procedure, with minimal downtime and none risks accociated with surgical liposuction.

Benefits of Non Invasive Laser Lipolysis

Non Invasive Laser lipolysis offers effective results with minimal downtime. Just as there are several types of liposuction, there are several types of laser lipolysis. All are derived from conventional liposuction, during which unwanted fatty tissue is suctioned out of the body through small tubes called cannulas. In non invasive laser lipolysis, laser energy melts and destroys the fatty tissue which is then flushed out of your body through the lymphatic system. Allthough this process takes longer to achieve desired results, this method has shown to be effective in reducing stubborn fat deposits and reducing cellulite. This treatment causes little to no trauma to the body unlike traditional liposuction.

Non Invasive Laser lipolysis, when performed is an isolated procedure that treats only small areas of the body.  The procedure takes only 30 minutes up to an hour to produce effective, long  lasting results. Common areas treated with  non invasive laser lipolysis include the waist, abdomen, back, hips, thighs, buttocks, knees, ankles, upper arms and neck.

Non Invasive Laser lipolysis has a number of benefits over traditional liposuction. They include:

  • No visible trauma
  • Shorter procedure time and recovery
  • no cutting or sutures
  • No scarring
  • Little to no downtime
  • Effective fat destruction
  • Skin-tightening
  • Increases collagen production in treatment area
  • Fewer risks and complications

The Non Invasive Laser Lipolysis Procedure

The non invasive laser lipolysis procedure uses laser technology that heats the fat cells, liquefying them and making them easily flushed out of the body through the lymphatic system. The laser also improves the skin tone and texture in the treatment-area. The treatment also promotes the body to increase collagen production in the treatment area lifting and tightening the skin to conform to the body's contours.

When performed, non invasive laser lipolysis requires no anesthesia, and is generally well tolerated. Depending on the size of the area treated, the procedure can last from less than an hour to an hour. Because there are no incisions, no sutures are needed, and there is no scarring. Clients can return home after treatment with minimal restrictions.

Risks of Non Invasive Laser Lipolysis

Although non invasive laser lipolysis is considered safe, it is not appropriate for patients who are pregnant, have a history of kidney or liver disorders, have uncontrolled diabetes, have blood clotting disorders, have a history of heart attack or stroke, have inplanted devices or hardware in the treatment area, or have an implanted pacemaker or defibrillator. Because of the minimally invasive nature of the treatment, there is a lower risk of side effects, which include bruising, soreness, swelling, numbness, small raised bumps or welts in the treatment area, but will usually disappear in a short time. With treatments on the abdominal area, side effects may include nausea, upset stomach, diarrhea, or increaed bowel movements that usually subside after a day or two.

Recovery from Non Invasive Laser Lipolysis

After non invasive laser lipolysis, patients can return to work immediately and most other regular activities the next day. We recommend avoiding alcohol and deep fried fatty food for 24 hours before and after treatments. It is also reccommended to consume at least 64 ounces ofwater the day of and dayafter treatments along with at least 30 minutes of exercise to boost the metabolism and assist in flushing the ruptured fat The positive effects of the procedure are not immediately apparent, and the treated area,  continues to improve for several months. As with conventional liposuction, results of non invasive laser lipolysis are considered permanent unless a significant amount of weight is gained after treatment.
